BECAUSE EVERY MAN, HOWEVER POWERFUL, CAME FROM A WOMAN, EVERY WOMAN SHOULD BE RESPECTED AND PROTECTED !

THANKS

We would like to express our gratitude to those who are helping us restore hope in girls and women who survived the Femicide.
In 2011, we received and transferred donations to the victims of the Femicide at Panzi from the following organizations :

Stand Up for Congo :

An organization based in Canada. Its goal is to raise awareness of the current issues occurring in Eastern Congo, and to bring support and funding to the victims.

Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority :

An organization based in the USA. Its mission is to further multiculturalism by promoting diversity
and cultural awareness in communities in the US and throughout the world.

We also thank the following organizations for their work in the Kivu region : V-Day, Eastern Congo Initiative and Women For Women.

HOW CAN YOU HELP ?

We have designed a T-Shirt for the cause. Click on the shirt image on the left to go to the pre-order page.
All the benefits from the sale of the shirts will go to the survivors of the Femicide, mostly those at Panzi Hospital.
The funds will help them pay for their school tuition or professional training in order to help their reintegration in the society.
We are still making arrangements to make items hand-made by the survirors available for purchase for the same purpose.

FINANCIAL HELP

While we are in the process of obtaining all legal rights to collect funds in the US, we have facilitated the transfer of donations from American organizations to the victims tended to by local organizations in partnership with the Panzi Hospital.

INFORMATION

Help can also be done simply by not conveying the wrong information about the terrorism and its culprits.
Wrong information mislead the assistance to the victims and perpetrates the terrorism.
News agencies and organizations have sometimes missed the right information in a rush to make appealing reports.
The true information holders are the survivors themselves.
